Testimonials

Have you ever wondered how your child learns and performs in school? It's like a science that requires lots of patience and passion to understand, and it takes years to master.

My passion for education began with my sons. I'm a mom to three young men who challenged everything I knew about learning and academics. One of them helped me realize that not everyone needs a formal education. FALSE! It's all about how they react to things and how their brains change with new information (neuroplasticity). So, forget about Ivy League plans, college, or trade school for now. Focus on giving them the skills and tools for a strong foundation. Later, you can decide together on the best higher education path. After all, isn't learning for any career a higher education?

Neuroplasticity is essential, and you have the power to shape it when your child is young. Provide a balanced environment in all aspects of life. For example, young children need your guidance on how to handle different situations.

Let's start with security - making sure they feel safe and loved, especially when they make mistakes. Consistency and teaching them about reality are important too. Teach them that fear often comes from not knowing enough, so encourage them to learn before making choices.

Loving to learn is crucial! Teachers know that students who love learning have parents who read to them, encourage questions, and go on learning adventures together.

Balance in rest, nutrition, and exercise is vital for kids to become well-balanced adults. It starts with a well-balanced lifestyle and routines during childhood.

Stress is a part of life, and we must learn to manage it and build tolerance as we grow. You play a significant role in helping your child handle moderate stressors. Dr. Daniela Kaufer explains how stress and performance are related to an "inverted U curve." Too little or too much stress can impact performance negatively, but some stress can motivate students to use their decision-making skills.

Now, let's talk about active learning, where children come home excited and remember what they've learned. This kind of learning engages both lower and higher-level cognitive functions. Understanding a bit of science can help - the more complex the thought process, the more neural connections and neurological crosstalk (Dr. Kaufer).

Parents, caregivers, teachers - anyone who wants to encourage learning - remember that making connections in the brain is the essence of learning. You play a vital role in this process, so understand how it works and make it happen.

Who am I?

In my perspective, I strongly believe in the mantra "Do good, be good." For me, it's not just about existing in this world but leaving a positive impact through my actions. I strive to make a difference in the lives of others and improve the world in any way I can. I want my footprint to be one of kindness, compassion, and positive change, so that when I look back, I know I've made a meaningful difference.

Life, to me, is an exciting and fun challenge. I embrace every opportunity to grow, learn, and evolve. I believe that there's always room for improvement, and I'm constantly seeking ways to better myself and expand my horizons. Each day is a chance to learn something new, whether it's through books, experiences, or interactions with others.

One of my greatest passions is learning through words. Books, articles, and knowledge-rich discussions are my gateway to endless possibilities. I see learning as a powerful tool that has the potential to revolutionize not just my world but the world of everyone who chooses to embark on that path of discovery. It's like a personal mission to unravel the hidden gems of wisdom that words hold, which can empower us to make a positive difference in our lives and the lives of others.

Helping others and being of service is at the core of my values. I find immense joy in lending a helping hand, supporting those in need, and making a positive impact on their lives. It brings a sense of fulfillment and purpose that transcends any material possessions.

Ultimately, I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. I cherish the little moments, find happiness in the ordinary, and embrace life's ups and downs with a positive attitude. Embracing joy in the journey allows me to approach challenges with optimism and determination.

In summary, my worldview revolves around the principles of doing good, being good, and leaving a positive legacy in this world. Embracing life's challenges as opportunities for growth, continually learning, helping others, and finding joy in everything I do are the cornerstones of my path to personal fulfillment and making a positive impact in the world.

Thank you for giving me the time to help you. Ms. V
